Raut writes to Tukaram Mundhe alleging extortion by FDA officials

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has written to Maharashtra FDA chief Tukaram Mundhe, alleging extortion by food safety officials in Mumbai and Thane. Raut alleged that a closing notice cost ₹10,000-₹12,000 before Mundhe took over, and it now costs ₹75,000-₹2 lakh. He further claimed that the money was demanded openly at the FDA's Bandra headquarters and sought a probe.
