Raavan effigy gets 'electrocuted', burns a day before Dussehra in Delhi
A Raavan effigy in Delhi's Patel Nagar caught fire a day before Dussehra due to short circuit in electric wires. A video showed the effigy bursting into flames. Separately, a committee in Delhi's Pitampura is burning a 30-foot cockroach effigy alongside Raavan's on Dussehra. The organisers said burning it would symbolise eliminating filth and promote cleanliness under Swachh Bharat campaign.
