Ravi Shastri appointed Indian cricket team director

The BCCI on Tuesday appointed former India captain Ravi Shastri as Director of the Indian team, for the five-match ODI series against England and Sanjay Bangar as assistant to chief coach Duncan Fletcher. Former India pacers Bharat Arun and R Sridhar will also join the squad as fielding coach. The ODI series begins August 25.
