Raymond announces demerger of its real estate business

Raymond Limited's shares surged 9% after announcing the demerger of its real estate business into a wholly-owned subsidiary, Raymond Realty. Post statutory approvals, Raymond Ltd and Raymond Realty Ltd will operate as separate listed entities, with each RL shareholder receiving 1 RRL share for every RL share held.
