RBI intervenes as Indian rupee inches closer to 100 against US dollar: Report
RBI sold US dollars to prevent the Indian rupee from hitting a new low as an escalation in the US-Iran war pushed oil prices higher, Bloomberg reported. This comes as the rupee hit 96.4575 against the dollar, within striking distance of its record low of 96.9650, as it moved towards the 100 mark. RBI earlier unveiled measures to attract forex.
