RBI issues list of regulated loan apps to be allowed by app stores

The RBI has furnished the list of digital lending apps being used by its regulated entities to the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). MeitY has shared the list with app stores to ensure only these apps are hosted on their platforms. This comes after reports said the government blocked over 200 betting and loan apps with Chinese links.
