RBI keeps real GDP growth forecast for FY25 unchanged at 7.2%

RBI has retained its real GDP growth forecast for financial year 2024-2025 (FY25) at 7.2%, Governor Shaktikanta Das said after the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting on Wednesday. "India's growth story remains intact as its fundamental drivers, consumption and investment demand, are gaining momentum," he said. The GDP growth forecast for the first quarter of FY25 was set at 7.3%.
