RBI keeps repo rate unchanged for fourth time in a row

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra announced the MPC's decision to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%. This is the fourth time that the MPC has decided to keep the rate unchanged, with the last cut (0.25%) being decided in December. The committee kept the standing deposit facility rate unchanged at 5% and the marginal standing facility rate unchanged at 5.5%.
