RBI keeps repo rate unchanged for the third time in a row

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra on Friday announced the Monetary Policy Committee's decision to keep repo rate unchanged at 5.25% for the third time in a row. With this, the standing deposit facility (SDF) rate is 5%, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate is 5.5%. The RBI had last cut the repo rate by 0.25% in December 2025.
