RBI orders Maharashtra minister Patil's removal as Latur DCC Bank's director

RBI has ordered removal of Maharashtra Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil and seven others as directors of Latur District Central Cooperative Bank (DCC). Patil, an NCP leader, was removed following directions passed by the Bombay High Court in response to bank member Satish Sheshrao Jadhav's petition. The petition sought his removal as he'd exceeded the 10-year tenure limit for bank directors.
