RBI's forex trading gains surge 52% to ₹1.69 lakh crore in FY26
Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) gains from foreign exchange transactions rose 52% to ₹1.69 lakh crore in the fiscal year ending March, according to its annual report released on Friday. RBI realises gains when it sells dollars from its foreign exchange reserves to protect the rupee. RBI had reported a ₹1.11-lakh crore gain from forex trades in the previous year.
