RBI slaps total ₹45.30 lakh penalty on Hinduja Leyland, 4 others

RBI imposed total penalties of ₹45.34 lakh on five entities, including Hinduja Leyland Finance. TransUnion CIBIL received the highest penalty of ₹26.82 lakh for non-compliance with framework on compensating customers for delays in updating or rectifying credit information. CRIF High Mark Credit Information Services, Equifax Credit Information Services and Sammaan Finserve have also been fined.
