RBI stops two banks from issuing co-branded credit cards

The RBI has directed South Indian Bank and Federal Bank to halt issuing new co-branded credit cards until compliance with regulatory guidelines is met. Both banks will continue servicing existing customers. Separately, RBI imposed penalties on Bank of India, Bandhan Bank, and Indostar Capital Finance Ltd for regulatory non-compliance.
