The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will keep the policy repo rate unchanged at 6.5%, experts predicted ahead of a meeting of the six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). Experts claimed retail inflation is showing a downward trend, which is indicating the effectiveness of
previous policy rate actions. Retail inflation declined to an 18-month low of 4.7% in April.
