RBI to provide banks with AI-powered fraud detection platform

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said the central bank will provide banks with an AI-powered Digital Payment Intelligence Platform to tackle frauds in the digital ecosystem. "It is AI and AI alone that can help limit AI frauds," he added while speaking at a conference in Mumbai. He further said banks should maintain an inventory of AI models that they use.
