RBI turns down Ujjivan Small Finance Bank's universal bank bid

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank said the RBI has ​turned down its recent application to transition from a small finance bank to universal bank status. "RBI returned the…application and advised the bank to consider applying again after demonstrating a diversified loan portfolio," the bank said.
