RCB director of cricket Mo Bobat to take up English football role

Derby County Football Club named Mo Bobat as the head of their new Sporting Intelligence department. This will be first season back in the Championship since 2021/22. Having worked with the ECB since 2011, Bobat is currently director of cricket at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Bobat will work alongside, among others, former England cricketer and chief selector Ed Smith.
