Ready for talks with Ukraine based on Istanbul agreements: Putin

President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready to negotiate with Ukraine "based on the agreements" discussed in Istanbul in 2022. The talks had produced a draft deal under which Ukraine would renounce its bid to join NATO and limit the size of its armed forces in exchange for security guarantees. Putin said Ukraine was "satisfied" with them at the time.
