Ready to resume nuclear testing at any moment: Russian official

The head of Russia’s nuclear testing site, Rear Admiral Andrei Sinitsyn, said the facility was ready to resume nuclear tests "at any moment" if Moscow gave the order. Russia's facility is located on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, where the Soviet Union conducted more than 200 nuclear tests. The country has not conducted nuclear tests since 1990.
