Real pic of flamingo wins award in AI photo contest

Photographer Miles Astray's photo of a flamingo won an award in the AI-generated category at the photography contest 1839 Awards. However, the photo was disqualified from the competition after Astray revealed it was a real image clicked in Aruba. Astray said he deliberately chose a picture "so surreal, to the point of unbelievable" that it could be attributed to AI.
