Really shameful: Biden on Meta scrapping fact-checking in US

US President Joe Biden condemned Meta's recent decision to replace its fact-checking program with "liberal" Community Notes. "I think it's really shameful. Telling the truth matters," said Biden. He further said the move was "completely contrary" to American values. However, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg called the program "something out of like 1984" and blamed it for "destroying so much trust".
