Record for highest amount spent in an IPL auction broken in Jeddah

IPL 2025 mega auction, being held in Jeddah, has broken the record for the highest amount spent in an IPL auction. The 10 franchises have spent ₹555.4 crore on 94 players in IPL 2025 mega auction so far. The previous record for the highest amount spent in an IPL auction was ₹551.7 crore spent in IPL 2022 mega auction.
