A Russian woman gave birth to 69 children, becoming the 'most prolific mother ever', according to the Guinness World Records. She was the first wife of Feodor Vassilyev, a peasant from Shuya, and gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets. According to a local monastery, the children were born between 1725-1765.
