Record for most ODI hundreds scored in a day broken

Men's ODI cricket witnessed a record six centuries in a day on September 27. Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Justin Greaves scored hundreds in India-West Indies ODI, Temba Bavuma and David Miller did so in South Africa-Australia ODI, while England's Tom Banton hit 126 against Sri Lanka. The previous record of five centuries had occurred on six occasions.
