Red alert issued for Chennai as more rains expected on November 10, 11

The IMD has raised a red alert in Tamil Nadu till November 11 following heavy rains. In its bulletin issued on Tuesday, the IMD predicted "light to moderate rainfall at most places with heavy to very heavy rainfall and extremely heavy falls at isolated places" in the state. So far, five people have died in rain-related incidents in Tamil Nadu.
