Red alert shuts Solan and Sirmaur schools on Friday

All private and government educational institutions, medical educational institutes and anganwadi centres in Solan and Sirmaur districts of Himachal Pradesh will remain closed on Friday following a warning of heavy to very heavy rain in the region. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert, predicting heavy rain, landslides and cloudburst.
