Red Bull's Verstappen wins Italian GP, closes in on 2nd world title

Red Bull F1's Max Verstappen started seventh on the grid and went on to win the 2022 Italian GP to potentially be one win away from his second world championship. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished second, ahead of Mercedes' George Russell. Debutant Nyck de Vries scored his first points for Williams F1 in a race that ended behind the safety car.
