Reddit files lawsuit against Australia's under-16 social media ban

US-listed firm Reddit has filed a lawsuit in Australia's High Court seeking to overturn the country's social media ban for users under 16, as well as its inclusion in the law. It argues the ban is "invalid" because it "infringes the implied freedom of political communication".The filing named the Commonwealth of Australia and Communications Minister Anika Wells as defendants.
