Reducing disability without Insurance Co’s appeal improper: SC

The Supreme Court has asked the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation to pay compensation in a case of a motor accident. The Apex Court noted that the High Court, without any appeal by the Insurance Company, reduced the disability to 40%. As per the Court, such an action was improper.
