Reflecting Pool drained to fix 'scars', says Trump weeks after failed $14 mn revamp

US President Donald Trump said the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which recently underwent a $14.7 million renovation, was drained to fix the "scars and damage" and will be refilled and put to service soon. "Slashes were 300 yards long, and the floor of the pool was cut and then pulled...with great force," Trump said, reiterating his claims of vandalism.
