Refunds of billions in tariffs imposed by Trump to begin on Monday, among largest in US history

US government is initiating a process to refund billions of dollars in tariffs starting Monday, following a Supreme Court ruling that invalidated duties imposed by President Donald Trump earlier this year. The refund process is expected to be the largest in US history. Importers and authorised customs brokers who paid tariffs under emergency powers can submit claims through CBP system.
