Regional parties got ₹872 cr from corporates, 62% of their total donations, in last 2 financial yrs

Corporates contributed ₹872.538 crore (62.36%) of the total donations received by 40 regional parties during the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25, an analysis by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) showed. The individual donors contributed ₹193.946 crore (13.86%), despite accounting for nearly 69% of the total number of donations. The ADR analysed donations above ₹20,000.
