Raveena Tandon revealed that she rejected Karan Johar's offer for 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' because she didn't want to "restart her career" by taking on the role of a second lead. She acknowledged Rani Mukerji's performance as 'Tina' and said, "It worked for Rani because she was a young and fresh face." She added, "That was a really difficult decision."
