Rejected songs with sleazy lyrics, industry is patriarchal: Shreya

Singer Shreya Ghoshal spoke about how the music industry remains "slightly patriarchal" despite positive changes over time. On rejecting songs with sleazy lyrics, Shreya said, "There were some popular songs that did very well, but I said no. Thankfully…those songs have become quite less," adding, "It's a slightly patriarchal, gender-based thing…It's changing…Still, I feel it's very male-heavy."
