An aircraft carrying the banner with the slogan Release Imran Khan was spotted over the New York stadium during Sunday's India vs Pakistan match in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. Notably, Imran Khan, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan who led the country from 2018 to 2022, has been detained in Adiala Jail since August 2023 on several allegations.
