Release of ₹255 crore crop insurance dues for Haryana farmers

After over a year of protests and appeals, cotton farmers in Haryana's Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts will receive about ₹255 crore in crop insurance claims. The Haryana State Grievances Redressal Committee directed Kshema General Insurance to disburse dues based on actual yields recorded through Crop Cutting Experiments.
