Reliance files trademark application for 'Operation Sindoor', withdraws it later

Four entities, including Reliance Industries and retired IAF Group Captain Kamal Singh Oberh, had filed trademark applications under Class 41 for "Operation Sindoor". However, Reliance Industries later withdrew the application, stating that it was filed by a junior "without authorisation". This comes after India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
