Reliance Industries in talks to buy Subway India for up to ₹1,860 cr: Report

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries is reportedly in discussions with Subway to acquire its India franchise for $200-250 million (about ₹1,488 crore to ₹1,860 crore), The Economic Times reported on Monday. The US-based sandwich chain does business in India through several regional master franchisees. If the deal finalises, Reliance Retail would get a network of around 600 Subway stores in India.
