Reliance invests ₹90 cr in Mumbai’s edtech startup Embibe

Mumbai-based edtech startup Embibe has raised ₹90 crore from RIL, which already owns a stake in the startup. In 2018, RIL announced investment of over ₹1,200 crore in three years and acquired 73% stake in Embibe from existing investors including Lightbox Ventures and Kalaari Capital. Notably, the startup acquired Bengaluru-based edtech startup Funtoot for over ₹71 crore in December 2019.
