Reliance Jio, Airtel consider competing for stake in Zee: Reports

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio and Sunil Bharti Mittal's Airtel are reportedly considering competing bids for a stake in Zee Entertainment. Subhash Chandra's Essel Group is looking to sell as much as half of its 42% stake in Zee to a strategic partner. The television network's profits in the third quarter surged 75% to ₹560 crore on sales of ₹2,170 crore.
