Reliance JioMart launches WhatsApp order service for groceries in select cities

Reliance Jio’s e-commerce platform JioMart is testing an “ordering system” on WhatsApp, days after it announced the $5.7 billion deal with Facebook. The trial service for grocery shopping is available in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan. After the order is placed, customers are notified via WhatsApp about the where and when to pick up the groceries, as per JioMartLite’s website.
