Reliance ramps up oxygen supply to 700 tonnes a day for states: Report

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has ramped up manufacturing at its Jamnagar oil refineries to produce over 700 tonnes a day of medical oxygen, PTI reported citing sources. The oxygen supplies are reportedly being sent free of cost to several states, including Gujarat and Maharashtra. This will provide relief to over 70,000 critically ill COVID-19 patients daily, the report said.
