Remains of 5,000-year-old 'elite woman' found in old Peru dump

Archaeologists in Peru have announced that they found the 5,000-year-old remains of an 'elite woman' at the sacred city of Caral. The remains were found in an area which for decades was used as a garbage dump. The items buried with her, shown to reporters at the culture ministry, included a toucan's beak, a stone bowl, and a straw basket.
