Renault considers building a mass-market EV in India: Report

French automaker Renault is considering building a mass-market electric vehicle in India to boost its sales in the country, Reuters reported. The company is reportedly looking into launching a made-in-India electric version of its Kwid hatchback. According to the report, Renault is studying potential demand, pricing and the ability to build the EV with local components.
