Renowned Indian-American surgeon demoted over 'ghost surgeries' in US

Renowned Indian American surgeon Dr Anil Nanda has been removed as the head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Rutgers medical school in US' New Jersey, amid allegations of performing 'ghost surgeries', the university announced. Ghost surgeries refer to surgeons conducting surgeries on another surgeon's patient with mutual agreement but without informing the patient, who is under anaesthesia.
