Rents in Manhattan hit ₹4.3 lakh/month after Indian-origin Mamdani elected as NYC Mayor

Rents in Manhattan rose 13% YoY and 3.3% over October to hit $4,750 (₹4.3 lakh) per month in November after Indian-origin Zohran Mamdani was elected as New York City's Mayor last month. Appraiser Miller Samuel's President Jonathan Miller said the data "solidifies idea that there's no exodus and there's no Mamdani effect". Top 10% of Manhattan rentals have hit $11,500.
