Renuka becomes first Indian to win ICC Emerging Women's Cricketer of the Year award

India Women fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur has created history by becoming the first Indian to win the ICC Emerging Women's Cricketer of the Year award. The 26-year-old Shimla-born fast bowler took 40 wickets across formats in 2022 to be named ICC Emerging Women's Cricketer of the Year 2022 award.
