Report flagged 36 concerns including 'blind checking' before CBSE's OSM roll out

An internal observation report from a dry run of CBSE's on-screen marking (OSM) system, conducted at five Delhi schools in January 2026, flagged 36 concerns including risks of "blind or superficial checking". The report was submitted weeks before CBSE deployed OSM at national scale. OSM system is facing criticism after students received blurred scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets.
