Report on preferential treatment confirms evidence in Amazon probe: CCI

Competition Commission of India (CCI) has told the Karnataka High Court that a Reuters report, which showed Amazon gave preferential treatment to a group of sellers in India, corroborated evidence it received earlier. The CCI was arguing for restarting a probe against Amazon over alleged violations of competition law. The Reuters story was based on internal Amazon documents from 2012-2019.
