Reports claiming that Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant died in an Iranian missile attack on Tuesday are false. Misinformation circulated online after Iran launched over 180 missiles on Israel. Gallant's spokesperson confirmed he is alive, with Gallant later posting a photo of himself with missile interception personnel. US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin also confirmed speaking with Gallant.
